Flynn Group of Companies is currently looking for a Service Superintendentto support our Vancouver Branch located in Surrey BC (Office Locationnd Avenue Surrey BC V3Z 3S6) reporting to the Service Manager.
Day in the Life
- Review and document change orders service requests and work orders
- Coordinate with the Service Manager on project progress service priorities and final project details
- Dispatch technicians with clear job instructions and required documentation
- Monitor job performance material usage and completion timelines
- Provide regular updates to clients and maintain strong customer relationships
- Support field crews by overseeing and reviewing repairs inspections and maintenance work
- Resolve on-site issues and ensure compliance with safety and company policies
- Manage service inventory equipment and fleet compliance
- Train coach and evaluate technicians and identify future leaders
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor quality safety and training needs
- Maintain on-call status for emergency service response

What We Are Seeking
- 3-5 years experience in a construction environment; Service Roofing experience is considered an asset
- Display excellent interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal
- Form and maintain customer relations in person through email and over the phone
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints work orders and technical documents
- Ability to multitask prioritize stay organized and perform in a deadline-oriented environment
- Reliable and strong problem-solving skills
- Work independently as well as in a team-based environment
- Work in a fast-paced environment and strong attention to detail
