The Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and driven Junior Accountant to support our growing finance team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to contribute to various accounting and administrative functions while developing their skills in a collaborative and professional environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Own the end-to-end processing of Accounts Payable for a multi-entity group including vendor invoice processing coding approvals and vendor statement reconciliations
Own the Accounts Receivable process across all entities including invoicing application of payments account reconciliation credit application approval and follow-up on outstanding balances
Own corporate credit card accounting including receipt collection coding reconciliations and follow-up on missing documentation
Support the accounting team with month-end close activities including GL and subledger reconciliations
Assist with audit support and periodic reporting requirements by preparing schedules and supporting documentation
Collaborate with the broader finance team on ad hoc projects and process improvements
Perform other accounting and administrative tasks as required to support the team

Qualifications:

Degree Diploma or relevant hands-on experience in accounting
Practical experience in Accounts Payable Accounts Receivable expense reporting or accounting administration
Comfortable working with accounting software
Proficiency in Excel and strong analytical skills
Strong attention to detail organization and ability to manage recurring deadlines
