• This position will be responsible for implementing and monitoring site specific health safety and environmental operations.

  Coordinates the Occupational Health & Safety programs of the organization. Ensures compliance with safety standards and with local laws. Provides complex instruction and training on safe handling of products materials and/or equipment. Investigates and reports on severe workplace accidents. Conducts routine audits to find unsafe work practices and recommends corrective action. Makes recommendations concerning compliance with all applicable Health & Safety regulations. Typically has more than 5 years of experience and works under general direction.

  Required Qualifications & Skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Successfully pass post offer drug and physical screens and have a background that meets company requirements

  • Dependable and reliable with flexibility to work overtime when necessary

  • Ability to read and understand technical drawings materials or instructions

  • Good verbal and written communication skills to understand instructions applicable safety regulations and to maintain records

  • Must have strong ability work well within a team environment.

  Physical Requirements

  • Strong depth perception and quick reaction time

  • Ability to pick up lift carry and move a minimum of 65lbs.

  • Visual capabilities to follow hand signals maintain all logs and operate machinery

  • Ability to sit for long periods of time

  • Ability to work in a variety of weather including extreme heat and cold
