Description

Pennian Bank is seeking a dynamic and experienced Branch Executive Officer to lead and oversee branch operations within an assigned geographic area. This role is responsible for driving sales growth ensuring regulatory and policy compliance managing staff performance and fostering strong community and customer relationships. The Branch Executive Officer plays a key leadership role in achieving branch profitability operational excellence and exceptional customer service.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead manage and support branch offices to meet sales growth profitability and service objectives.
  • Drive business development through customer outreach relationship building and community involvement.
  • Identify and develop new consumer and business banking relationships; grow deposit and loan portfolios.
  • Oversee lending activities including application process compiling documentation obtaining approvals and closings.
  • Ensure all branch operations comply with bank policies procedures and regulatory requirements
  • Manage branch staffing including hiring training coaching and performance evaluations.
  • Establish and monitor sales and customer service goals for branch staff.
  • Ensure proper security cash controls vault management and facility maintenance.
  • Monitor branch expenses support budgeting efforts and identify opportunities for efficiency improvements.
  • Implement operational improvements and support new product rollouts and training initiatives.
  • Respond promptly to customer complaints and operational issues.
  • Prepare and submit required management and performance reports.
  • Actively represent the bank in the community to enhance visibility and reputation.
  • Serve as a hands-on leader by supporting front-line customer service and sales activities as needed.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Proven experience in retail or community banking operations.
  • Sales-driven mindset with experience in business development and relationship management.
  • Solid knowledge of lending practices and regulatory compliance.
  • Excellent communication organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage budgets staffing levels and operational performance.
  • Commitment to ethical conduct risk management and the Banks core values.




Requirements

Education/Training: Education beyond a high school diploma or equivalent preferred; specialized banking education and training relating to loans and customer service. NMLS licensing required.


Skill(s): Proficient reading writing grammar and mathematics skills; proficient interpersonal relations communicative and sales skills; a thorough knowledge of the features and benefits of all bank products and services; a working knowledge of bank operating policies and procedures; moderate PC skills including various software applications and programs; demonstrated management and supervisory skills; visual and auditory skills; valid drivers license.



Experience: A minimum of five (5) years experience in related banking and/or sales management positions normally required.
