As a Global Category Buyer you will play a key role in shaping Boschs global procurement strategy and securing supply continuity for innovative products worldwide.
Your contribution to something big:
- Analyzing global spend and supply chain data to identify opportunities for consolidation standardization and cost optimization
- Developing and implementing category and supplier strategies with a strong focus on value creation and sustainability
- Securing supplier capacities for new and ramp-up projects by closely collaborating with internal stakeholders and external partners
- Proactively managing material shortages and supply risks by defining and executing effective mitigation strategies
- Driving cross-functional collaboration across engineering logistics quality and business units to ensure continuity of supply
- Managing and influencing senior stakeholders up to General Purchasing level communicating transparently and solution-oriented
- Building long-term trust-based supplier relationships and leading negotiations at a global level
Qualifications :
What distinguishes you:
Education:
- Masters degree in engineering business or a comparable field
Experience:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement strategic sourcing or category management preferably in automotive industry or production.
- Experience in an international or global business environment is an advantage
Know-how:
- Strong analytical skills with a structured data-driven mindset
- Solid understanding of supply chain processes cost structures and risk management
- Negotiation skills and supplier relationship management experience are a plus
Languages:
- Fluent in English (spoken and written) (mandatory)
- German language skills are an advantage but not mandatory
Working Style and Methods:
- Independent proactive and solution-oriented working style
- Comfortable handling complex and challenging situations
- Strong collaboration skills in cross-functional and multicultural teams
Personality:
