Planning and Project Controls Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Planning and Project Controls Specialist to join our team in Riyadh Saudi this role you will be responsible for overseeing project planning scheduling and cost control activities to ensure successful project delivery.

• Develop maintain and update project schedules using advanced project management software
• Analyze project data and prepare comprehensive reports for stakeholders
• Monitor project progress identify potential risks and propose mitigation strategies
• Collaborate with project teams to establish and track key performance indicators
• Perform cost control activities including budget tracking and forecasting
• Assist in the development of project execution plans and resource allocation
• Conduct regular project reviews and provide recommendations for process improvements
• Ensure compliance with company policies procedures and industry standards
• Support the project management team in decision-making through data-driven insights

Qualifications :

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in project planning and controls preferably in large-scale engineering or construction projects
• Proficiency in project management software such as Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project
• Expert knowledge on planning concepts and methodologies
• Demonstrated experience in risk management cost control and budgeting
• Excellent knowledge of scheduling techniques and project management methodologies
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Knowledge on Power BI or similar software is an asset
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred
• Familiarity with industry standards and best practices in project controls
• Willingness to travel to project sites as needed
