Job Summary

As a Senior Staff Site Reliability Engineer you will join our Infrastructure & Cloud Operations team to enhance the availability reliability and observability of our global IT infrastructure. You will be instrumental in building our next-generation IT operations by leveraging automation code and analytics for continuous improvement. This role requires an analytical and influential leader who partners with Network Compute Security and Application teams to deliver meaningful solutions in a fast-paced innovative environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provision configure and support a resilient hybrid cloud deployment architecture using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) frameworks like Terraform and Ansible.
• Design implement and manage the CI/CD platform for Linux infrastructure collaborating with other SREs to deploy and maintain automation frameworks.
• Develop and implement proactive service monitoring alerting and trend analysis for infrastructure and applications to maintain service availability and performance SLAs.
• Build and operate a large-scale compute fabric for thousands of VMs and Kubernetes clusters developing scripts and tools to automate routine operational tasks.
• Lead efforts in scalability capacity planning redundancy and resiliency contributing to documentation for design operations and disaster recovery.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with global teams providing technical support responding to security audits and participating in on-call rotations and root cause analysis (RCA).
• Drive operational excellence by implementing integrated and automated processes advising on industry best practices for new technologies.
• Challenge existing processes curiously and positively by applying machine learning and AIOps concepts to drive the development of self-healing infrastructure.

Qualifications :

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related technical field or equivalent practical experience.
• 6 years of relevant experience in a Site Reliability Engineering DevOps or similar role.
• Strong hands-on experience with Linux administration (CentOS/RHEL/Ubuntu) system hardening and performance tuning.
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with tools such as Terraform and Ansible and version control systems like Git.
• Fluent scripting and coding skills in Python Go Java or Shell/Bash.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies specifically Docker and Kubernetes.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with administration and orchestration on public cloud platforms such as GCP or AWS.
• In-depth knowledge of Certificate Lifecycle Management and experience developing and managing APIs.
• Familiarity with CI/CD platforms like Jenkins or Harness and enterprise monitoring tools.
• Knowledge of AIOps and the application of Machine Learning/Artificial Intelligence in IT Operations or Cloud Infrastructure.
