Account Associate Surety

The Account Associate is responsible for supporting and servicing an assigned book of business in our Surety Department within the Construction Industry Group. This role ensures the highest standards of client service technical accuracy and operational efficiency while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.

The successful candidate will assist our team with a variety of tasks. We are looking for professionals who want to join an exciting fast paced environment with a strong learning culture and a focus on overall development

Provides support to the Account Manager and Account Director on a book of business (inclusive of annual international and project placements)
Ensures all communication and documentation is filed correctly in the appropriate systems and in line with our standard operating procedures
Is responsible for generating invoices and keeping track of account receivables on a periodic basis set out by the account team
Coordinate with Account Manager to set up clients on e-bonding portals and upload bonds to the portal if applicable
Execute prequalification tender final bonds or other documentation as requested by clients
Review client bid specifications and request additional details as needed
Is responsible for the preparation of any documentation needed within the day-to-day activities of a book of business (submissions to market renewal information collection quotation reports management reports mid-term changes etc.)
Prepare courier or mail packages for client documents

Education Experience & Qualifications

Knowledge of Applied Systems EPIC Broker Management System is preferred
Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite of products
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work within a team environment with strong interpersonal skills
Possess excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

Salary Range
$55000 - $65000 CAD per year
