Job Summary
JPMorgan Asset Management oversees $242bn in international equity investments for institutions and individual investors us as an IEG Investment Specialist and play a pivotal role in expanding our international equity business in the APAC region.
As a Vice President in the Equity Investment Specialist Team you will represent investment teams and strategies to internal partners prospects and existing clients. You will collaborate with portfolio managers and other investors to drive new business and oversee existing products and new product initiatives. Your role is crucial in positioning and messaging our products to achieve business growth and provide exceptional client service.
You will work closely with client advisors as well as product strategy product development and other internal groups to ensure the success of our Equity business. You will be based out of Australia supporting the broader APAC this role you will thrive as an ambitious proactive and results-oriented team member working with us in a collaborative environment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Represent investment teams and strategies to internal partners prospects and existing clients.
- Drive business growth for IEG in the APAC region.
- Collaborate with portfolio managers and other investors to position and message products effectively.
- Oversee existing products and new product initiatives in partnership with product strategy and development teams.
- Provide superior client service and maintain strong client relationships.
- Communicate investment strategies and articulate investments with clients / prospects both in one-on-one settings as well as in events and conferences
- Work collaboratively with teammates and other partners to achieve business objectives.
Required Qualifications Capabilities and Skills:
- 7 years of experience with strong understanding of financial services industry equities and capital markets.
- Demonstrable strong understanding of our investment strategies and has the ability to articulate investment processes with clients.
- Strong presentation / public-speaking skills.
- Strong attention to detail and team-oriented work ethic.
- Good writing and communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and analytical skills.
Preferred Qualifications Capabilities and Skills:
- Progress towards or completion of a CFA or comparable qualification.
- Any other Asian language skills is a plus.
