This role is responsible for assisting in the dealing workflow preparing and reviewing market reports monitoring mandate rules and risk parameters and contributing to portfolio administration. You will be expected to liaise with brokers under guidance support automation initiatives and provide insights for business development. You will build technical depth in trading systems market analysis and compliance while developing strong stakeholder relationships.
Your Background and Experience
- 13 years experience in investments markets or finance (buy-side or sell-side exposure preferred).
- Familiarity with trading systems and portfolio administration.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines with accuracy.
- Tertiary qualification in commerce economics finance or related field.
- Progress toward CFA or similar accreditation desirable.
- Solid understanding of ASX-listed companies and market drivers.
- Knowledge of investment approaches (factor investing) and dealing processes.
- Ability to interpret market information and communicate insights.
- Strong Excel skills; experience with financial modelling.
- Familiarity with Bloomberg and other trading platforms.
- Exposure to BI tools and basic programming (Python/SQL) advantageous.
