Qualifications
- Possess education equivalent to one-year certificate from college or technical school; or two years of similar or related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Possess computer skills requiring knowledge of word processing e-mail spreadsheet work order system and Internet
- Must have NC Drivers License
- Ability to work well with others be self-motivated.
- Display strong oral and written communication skills.
- Possess problem-solving skills.
- Physical Strength: Able to lift or move up to 40 lbs. or more
- Have visual acuity depth perception and ability to adjust
- While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger handle or feel and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to sit. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance and stoop kneel crouch or crawl.
- Must be authorized to work in United States
- Ability to formulate detailed plans and scopes of work
- Ability to prioritize and manage tasks
- Ability to understand and follow complex and written instructions
- Ability to convey complex information to others in training situations
- Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing
- Ability to analyze and troubleshoot technical and computer-related problems
- Ability to do what it takes to meet job requirements
- Ability to successfully interact with people
Responsibilities
- Provide telephone remote desktop support and onsite services to users
- Provide remote and onsite services to facilities
- Open work order tickets document problems and reach resolutions quickly
- Ability to travel onsite and resolve issues
- Install network cable from jack to patch panel if necessary
- Install & configure routers switches printers cameras and other network devices
- Install and configure wireless devices access points repeaters time clocks etc.
- Perform system upgrades onsite
- Install Windows and other software and join PCs and users to domains
