Job Summary
The Resort at Longboat Key Club is seeking dedicated and skilled Maintenance Technicians to join our team on a full-time basis. This role is integral to ensuring the smooth operation and upkeep of our hotel and resort facilities providing a safe comfortable and visually appealing environment for our guests and staff. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in general maintenance excellent troubleshooting skills and a commitment to high-quality work.
Day Shift - Thurs-Mon 8:30-5:00
Night Shift - Fri-Tues 2:00-10:30

Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs of hotel and resort facilities including plumbing electrical HVAC and carpentry.
- Respond promptly to work orders and guest requests to address maintenance issues in a timely manner.
- Inspect and maintain equipment and systems to ensure operational efficiency and safety compliance.
- Assist with preventive maintenance programs to reduce downtime and extend equipment life.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and materials used.
- Collaborate with other departments to support overall resort operations.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a maintenance technician preferably in a hotel or resort setting.
- Strong knowledge of electrical plumbing HVAC and general building maintenance.
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair a wide range of mechanical and electrical systems.
- Good communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team with flexibility for on-call or emergency situations.
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation to and from the worksite.
