The role Te mahi

We are currently seeking new team members with diverse experience to join the Campus Temps talent community.

Our Campus Temps provide professional high-quality temporary support during staff absences peak periods and short-term projects. They cover a wide range of roles such as Administrator Clinical Receptionist Project Coordinator Data Entry and Executive Assistant.

Assignments vary in length and hours (full-time and part-time) and may be within Academic Divisions such as Health Sciences or Commerce or across Service Divisions like Human Resources or Property and Campus Development. For more information about the university divisions please visit: every assignment youll have the chance to develop fresh skills gain insights into different areas of the university and build your professional network while making a meaningful contribution.
These roles are a fantastic way to explore the campus and gain valuable experience that may lead to future longer-term opportunities.

You are positive resourceful and quick to adaptalways ready to embrace new challenges and learn new things. You are collaborative and embrace opportunities to work with diverse groups of people. Always thinking on your feet you excel at solving problems manage time effectively and adapt with confidence to shifting priorities.

While roles may vary you will have the following skills and experience:
Enthusiastic and self-motivated with a positive attitude
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word Excel and Outlook 365
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
Ability to accurately format organise and maintain documentation
Attention to detail with efficient and accurate typing or transcription experience
Previous experience in a busy work environmenttertiary sector experience is an advantage
Dedicated to working in a culturally safe and respectful manner and demonstrate an understanding and appreciation of Te Ao Māori Te Tiriti o Waitangi principles and Pasifika values.

Campus Temps work on a casual as-needed basis. This means theres no guarantee of regular hours or ongoing work. Assignments depend on what the university needs at the time so the amount of work and hourly rate can vary.
