Product Owner

Were looking for a Product Owner to join us at Telia.

Im Jussi Jääskeläinen Head of Product & Solution Integration and Im searching for someone ready to grow with us. Were a team focused on evolving Service Hub which is our in-house product integration and feature add-on platform. You will act as the Product Owner for one of the Service Hub application teams (Thor). Its a big team with two development tracks.

What youll do:

You will have a key role in planning the Program Increments and sprint iterations and work with several Product Managers on feature definition and priorities.

Even though the Product Owner role takes most of your time this position includes hands-on development work as well. The role combines product thinking technical decision-making and hands-on execution aligned with Scrum and SAFe ways of working. You will:

• Own and evolve theproduct vision roadmap and backlog.

• Translate business and strategic objectives intoclear implementable technical requirements.

• Activelycontribute as a developer(design coding reviews troubleshooting).

• Collaborate daily with developers and DevOps engineers in ashared responsibility model.

• Ensure high quality throughDevSecOps practices automation and observability.

• Work indistributed cross-border teams including close cooperation with our Swedish partner.

• Drive continuous improvement inarchitecture reliability and developer experience.

What will help you thrive in this role:

You are a senior Product Owner with a developer mindset or a senior developer who has taken strong product ownership responsibilities. You combine technical credibility with clear product thinking.

If you are motivated by building impactful products in close collaboration with engineers this role could be an excellent fit. You also have:

• Understanding ofcloud-native architectures DevOps and SRE principles.

• Ability to balanceshort-term delivery with long-term product sustainability.

• Excellent collaboration and communication skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• A mindset that promotespsychological safety openness and continuous learning.

This role focuses onleading through contribution clarity and example.

Our technical stack and engineering environment:

Our Service Hub platform is Java-centric cloud-native and built for scalability reliability and integration-heavy workloads.

• Core technologies (majority of development): Java (80%) Spring Boot Quarkus WildFly Vert.x.

• Additional backend & scripting languages: Kotlin Python (primarily for scripting and automation) Bash SQL.

• Frontend technologies: TypeScript Angular.

• Cloud & platform technologies: Kubernetes Helm public and sovereign cloud platforms (AWS UpCloud Welkin).

• Engineering practices and tooling: GitHub & Jira DevSecOps IaC CI/CD pipelines observability and monitoring uutomated testing including security and penetration testing.

As a technical product owner you are expected to be comfortable working directly in this stack even if you do not specialize in every technology.
