Location

This is an on-site position based in downtown San Diego offering a collaborative team-oriented office environment with direct attorney interaction.

Note

This role requires prior plaintiff-side personal injury paralegal experience. Candidates without hands-on PI case management experience from intake through settlement or litigation will not be considered.

Job Description

• Manage personal injury cases from intake through settlement or litigation
• Draft and manage correspondence pleadings discovery and case documentation
• Request organize and summarize medical records billing and damages evidence
• Communicate with clients medical providers insurance carriers and experts
• Track statutes of limitation deadlines and key litigation milestones
• Support attorneys with discovery depositions mediations and trial preparation
• Assist with settlement documentation lien resolution and case closure
• Maintain accurate case files and updates within the case management system

Qualifications

• 2 years of personal injury paralegal experience. Plaintiff side preferred.
• Strong litigation and case management experience from intake through resolution
• Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Solid understanding of civil litigation procedures
• Proficiency with case management systems and Microsoft Office
