QA Engineer Manual Software Tester

Job Overview

We are looking for a detailoriented QA Engineer / Manual Software Tester to ensure the quality stability and usability of our webbased knowledge and Q&A platforms. The ideal candidate will have handson experience in manual testing bug reporting and quality assurance processes ensuring applications meet functional and usability standards before release.

This role is onsite in Lahore and best suited for candidates who enjoy handson testing collaboration with developers and improving product quality.

Key Responsibilities

Manual Software Testing

• Perform manual testing of web applications to identify functional UI and usability issues
• Execute test cases test scenarios and test plans based on product requirements
• Conduct regression testing after bug fixes and feature enhancements
• Test applications across multiple browsers and devices to ensure compatibility

Defect Management & Collaboration

• Log track and manage defects using tools such as Jira Trello or ClickUp
• Collaborate closely with developers to reproduce verify and close bugs
• Validate requirements and ensure features meet acceptance criteria
• Assist with UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and prerelease validation

Documentation & Reporting

• Prepare clear test reports and bug documentation
• Maintain structured QA documentation for future reference
• Provide feedback to improve product usability and performance

MustHave Qualifications

• 23 years of experience in manual QA / software testing
• Strong understanding of SDLC and basic Agile methodologies
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
• Familiarity with bug tracking and test management tools
• Ability to write clear and structured test cases and reports
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science IT or a related field
• Must be Lahorebased and available for onsite work

NicetoHave Skills

• Basic knowledge of API testing (Postman or similar tools)
• Understanding of SQL / database basics
• Exposure to automation testing tools (plus not mandatory)
• ISTQB or other QA certifications (preferred not required)
