The Boeing CompanyBoeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for Facilities Multi Services Managers (Level K) to support the team onsite in Puyallup Auburn and/or Algona Washington on 1st 2nd and/or 3rd shift.
A manager in this role will develop cross-functional partnerships to achieve team and program goals while developing a work environment that promotes accountability trust teamwork quality and safety. This role will lead a team of 10 people.
Position Responsibilities:
Manages employee activities within the facilities occupation including facilities planning analysis project administration property administration facilities provisioning engineering construction and Plant & Equipment maintenance
Develops and executes project and process plans implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals
Acquires resources for projects and processes provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements
Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers stakeholders peers business partners and direct reports
Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches products and processes
Participates in equipment make/buy decisions; participates in source selection and provides technical oversight of suppliers
Manages develops and motivates employees
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
3 years in an aerospace fabrication or manufacturing environment
3years of experience leading teams in a formal and/or informal leadership role
1 years of experience in using excellent verbal and written communications skills to communicate with leaders and colleagues
Willing and able to work any shift (may be selected for 1st 2nd or 3rd shift)
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
1 years of experience in tooling and equipment services
1 years of experience leading or managing in a union represented environment
1 years of experience in conflict resolution and/or mediation
1 years of experience managing team workloads (preventative planned and reactive service requests & activities)
1 years of experience with safety regulations and quality standards
Ability to demonstrate competencies in conflict resolution collaboration process improvement people development
Adaptability change management ability to shift priorities quickly
