A caregiver in this positionworksdays Monday - Fridayfrom8:00am 5:00pm.

A caregiver who excels in this role will:

  • Ensure workstations and peripherals aremaintainedat the highest level of availability and reliability.

  • Handle LAN administration installations email administration consultingservicesand problem resolution.

  • Assistcaregivers and management in making Information Systems investments and decisions.

  • Consult ondesktop applications and configurations to improve employee productivity.

  • Troubleshoot software hardware network protocolsworkstationand departmental server-related problems.

  • Provide second level diagnostic Help Desk support for hardwaresoftwareand operating systems.

  • Act as the primary contact for ongoing supportrequirementsincluding all hardware components.

  • Coordinateworkstationpurchase decisions based on enterprise standards.

  • Recommend designbuildandsupportPC workstations.

  • Build andmaintaindetailed workstation documentation including configuration of desktop software and impact of additionsdeletionsor upgrades to the workstation.

Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:

  • High school diploma/GED

  • Two years of experience in information systems

  • Experience supporting mid-size workstations and server environments

  • Experience with personal computer architecture interfacecomponentsand telephone systems

  • Demonstrated knowledge of information systems and small to mid-size(100-700node) networks

Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:

  • Experience with personal computer architecture interface components and telephone systems preferred.

Physical Requirements:

  • Will be required to frequently move box personal computers 17 monitors printers and peripherals up to 75 pounds via the use of a two-wheeled cart or dolly.

  • May occasionally be required to transport equipment in personal vehicle.

  • Requires normal or corrected vision hearing and speech.

  • Requires frequent standing walking sitting and manual dexterity to operate computer.

Personal Protective Equipment:

  • Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
