The Externals Group are working with a leading building envelope contractor that specializes in institutional industrial and commercial projects. They focus on large-scale facilities and critical operations delivering expert technical knowledge and meticulous attention to detail.

As a Senior Project Manager youll take ownership of multiple commercial roofing projects - planning leading and delivering them to completion. Youll oversee everything from pre-construction through to close-out ensuring quality safety and profitability every step of the way.

A Day in the Life:

Lead and coordinate project teams to deliver commercial roofing projects on time and within budget.
Plan resources schedule work and monitor progress across multiple sites.
Prepare budgets conduct cost analyses and ensure projects meet financial goals.
Manage client relationships acting as the key liaison between the company vendors and customers.
Ensure compliance with all safety regulatory and contractual requirements.
Identify risks early and implement mitigation strategies.
Track performance metrics review job completion financials and drive continuous improvement across projects.

What Youll Bring:

8 years of project management experience ideally in commercial roofing or construction.
Experience working on government or public sector projects (preferred).
Knowledge of roofing systems including single-ply asphalt cold applied hot applied and metal.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a solid understanding of cost control and budgeting.
Proficiency with Procore and other cost or project management software.
Excellent communication and leadership skills with a keen eye for detail.
