Join Cytivas Sustaining Engineering team and contribute to advancing future therapeutics from discovery to delivery. As a Mechatronics Engineering Co-op you will support R&D and product development initiatives focusing on design documentation work instructions and implementing changes into production.
What youll do:
Design test and introduce jigs and fixtures to streamline and enhance production processes for Cytiva Nanomedicine instruments.
Assist systems engineers on the team to perform root cause analysis to test and implement design changes addressing internal and field-related instrument issues.
Assist manufacturing to investigate and resolve production line issues.
Ensure all product changes maintain or improve compliance performance and reliability.
Assist operations in identifying and validating alternative sources for production parts to ensure continuity of supply.
Who you are:
Currently enrolled in Mechatronics Nanotechnology Engineering Engineering Physics Systems Engineering Biomedical Engineering or a similar multidisciplinary program.
Knowledge of electrical circuits and circuit design.
Experience in designing fabricating and testing prototype instruments.
Detail-oriented with strong analytical and critical-thinking skills.
Excellent organizational interpersonal and time management abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with SolidWorks /3D CAD software
Knowledge of biological lab techniques
The annual salary range for this role is $ CAD/year. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.
