POSITION SUMMARY

USA Lacrosse is looking for an Associate Producer Digital Media to join our this exciting role you will ideate create and execute creative initiatives across the organization to support the mission of USA Lacrosse and grow the brand and sport throughout the country. Working with the SR Producer Digital Media you will do pre-production planning storyboarding creative videography and photography non-linear editing and motion design. This critical role will collaborate with the marketing and communications team along with other departments throughout the organization in a fast-paced work environment to create a wide variety of memorable and impactful content ranging from narrative storytelling to educational materials to social content and more to elevate awareness and knowledge of the mission of USA Lacrosseand the sport of lacrosse with diversity equity and inclusion always at the forefront.

A Typical Day Looks Like

  • At the direction of the SR Producer Digital Media oversees the production of digital media for USA Lacrosse including but not limited to videos website content online advertising and all other marketing assets and initiatives ensuring brand alignment and emphasis on diversity equity and inclusion.
  • Collaborates with the creative team to conceptualize plan and execute video projects to design stories to fuel the growth of lacrosse and showcase USALs National Teams program throughout the country.
  • Creates and develops multimedia content for stories and initiatives from the lacrosse community including videos supporting internal organizational promotional social media and product marketing for all USA Lacrosse events programs and initiatives including National Team Developmental Programs and other campaigns/projects to raise brand awareness.
  • Takes creative briefs from key stakeholders to create content and develop relationships for successful long-term collaboration.
  • Captures and edits video and audio projects including but not limited to organizing raw media designing motion graphics titling sound design/voice-over/SFX media management and archiving.
  • Coordinates with project directors to ensure workflow documentation and design standards are being upheld and projects are completed on time.
  • Supports and maintains a media and data asset management (DAM) archival platform for all video and photo content.
  • Collaborates with the editorial social media and marketing teams as well as other internal departments on video concepts stories and branded content campaigns.
  • Ensures all content aligns with USA Lacrosses brand standards and has consistent messaging including voice tone and overall brand look and feel.
  • Stays up to date on all trends with social and digital standards to stay current and keep USA Lacrosse at the forefront of its creative initiatives. This includes providing recommendations on projects to make sure output is best in class.

Is This You

  • 2 to 4 years of hands-on experience within the video photo production content and/or digital industry.
  • Working knowledge of Sony DSLR family.
  • Extensive knowledge of Adobe Suite (Premiere After Effects Photoshop Audition Media Encoder).
  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft 365 including Word Outlook Excel PowerPoint and Teams.
  • Proven experience taking Creative Briefs to final deliverables.
  • Passion for the creative grind including being creative and innovative while having fun with the material to put a personalized stamp on your work.
  • Strong organizational skills attention to detail ability to prioritize support and manage multiple projects including production schedules and media assets with the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Self-starter entrepreneurial mindset with hands-on get it done approach.
  • Excellent communication including verbal written and interpersonal. This includes the ability to collaborate manage projects and build relationships internally and externally to establish trust and confidence.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced dynamic cross-functional team working toward a common goal.
  • Ability to be flexible with your work schedule including the ability to work nights and weekends based on event needs and priorities. This will include overnight and weekend travel for domestic and international events.
  • Willingness to learn about the sport of lacrosse and appreciate the need to develop grow and fuel the growth of the sport with diversity equity and inclusion in mind.
  • Ability to align with USA Lacrosses Mission Vision and Values to support our initiatives and organizational goals.

Expected Hours of Work

This position is generally expected to work Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 5:00pm and occasionally requires longer hours or weekend work as related to events and other business needs. This is a hybrid position and works from the headquarters office in Sparks MD three (3) days a week with the flexibility to work from home two (2) days a week.

Compensation & Benefits Overview

The total compensation pay range (inclusive of base salary plus annual incentive pay potential) for this position is $52800 to $55000 commensurate with experience.

Travel Requirements

Travel may be necessary up to 35% of the time (domestic and international). Travel would involve the following mode(s) of travel: car train or air. Some out of area and overnight travel may be expected.
