A Leading Education Recruitment Agency is currently recruiting SEN Teaching Assistants to support pupils across a variety of mainstream and specialist SEN schools in Camden. Role Overview

As an SEN Teaching Assistant in Camden you will work with pupils who require additional emotional behavioural or learning support to succeed in school. Pupils may have Autism SEMH ADHD speech and language needs or learning difficulties and often benefit from structured routines and consistent adult support.

You will work closely with class teachers SENCOs and pastoral teams to deliver tailored support strategies and ensure pupils feel safe understood and included.

Responsibilities

  • Provide 1:1 and small-group SEN support

  • Support pupils with emotional regulation and behaviour management

  • Assist with differentiated learning activities

  • Encourage engagement independence and positive learning behaviours

  • Support pupils during transitions and unstructured times

  • Build strong trusting relationships with pupils and staff

  • Maintain safeguarding behaviour and SEN records

  • Follow school policies and procedures
