About the Role:
We are seeking a Senior DevOps / Infrastructure Developer to join a global Manufacturing Systems team responsible for developing software used in manufacturing environments. These systems support production planning tracking documentation and production simulation for capacity planning and equipment dimensioning.

The team operates in a large-scale globally distributed environment and is on a journey to further automate and optimize its DevOps practices. While processes for development testing building version control and deployment are already in place several areas require improvement and increased automation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own and manage Manufacturing Systems infrastructure including approximately 30 Kubernetes clusters deployed globally

• Design improve and maintain CI/CD pipelines to increase automation and reliability

• Lead the implementation and automation of Kubernetes deployments

• Provide expert support and guidance to development teams on Kubernetes and infrastructure-related topics

• Drive DevOps best practices to improve quality scalability and delivery speed

• Collaborate closely with developers and operations teams to streamline workflows

Requirements:

• Hands-on experience in building and maintaining DevOps environments

• Expert-level experience in setting up and managing on-premises Kubernetes infrastructure (e.g. vSphere Kubernetes Service)

• Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or similar platforms

• Solid understanding of the full application development lifecycle from prototyping to deployment and quality assurance

• Experience with source code management code analysis code reviews and build automation

• Knowledge of continuous integration and continuous delivery practices

• Experience with server orchestration technologies

• Expert-level Linux knowledge

• Curious mindset with a strong willingness to learn and adopt new DevOps technologies

• Self-driven and proactive approach to improving processes and automation

• Strong collaboration skills with developers and operations teams

• Confident yet humble attitude with a clear understanding of how DevOps automation improves quality and delivery speed
