Procurement Specialist
Location:Greater Dublin Area

Were partnering with a well-established construction accessories companythats currently looking for a Procurement Specialist based in or around Dublin.
In this role youll be responsible for managing the purchasing of goods and services for the business making sure everything is delivered on time to the right quality standards and at the best possible cost. Youll also play a key role in building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers.
KeyResponsibilities:
- SourcingandNegotiation:Identifyandevaluatesuppliersnegotiatecontractsandsecurefavourabletermsforthecompany.
- PurchasingManagement:Overseetheprocurementprocessincludingcreatingpurchaseorderstrackinginventorylevelsandensuringtimelydeliveryofgoodsandservices.
- Receiving in goods and updating the cost prices with freight.
- Requesting quotes from Suppliers and forwarding to the Sales Team with landed costs.
- VendorRelationshipManagement:Buildandmaintainstrongrelationshipswith supplierstoensurequalityandreliabilityofproductsandservices.
- CostAnalysis:Analysemarkettrendsandpricingtoensurecost effectivepurchasingdecisionsthatalignwiththeorganizationsbudgetandgoals.
- ComplianceandReporting:Ensureallprocurementactivitiescomplywithcompanypoliciesandregulationsandpreparereportsonpurchasingactivitiesandsupplierperformance.
- Supply Chain organising importing of goods throughout Europe and UK.
- Liaising with our Custom Clearance Agents and preferred hauliers daily to monitor goods in and arrival dates and report this to the Warehouse department and updating Sales Team with lead times on products.
- Requesting & Reviewing Commercial Invoices from our UK Suppliers prior to booking collections with our haulier.
- Involved with reporting importing information for CBAM.
- Informing our Transport department daily with domestic collections eg Irish Suppliers Rhenus etc.
- Monitor Stock Levels Regularly with Warehouse Manager Inventory Control Involved with Stock Take and Cycle Counts.
Qualifications:
- Education:Abachelorsdegreeinbusinesssupplychainmanagementorarelatedfieldistypicallyrequired.
- Experience: Minium of 5 years experienceinprocurementpurchasingorsupplychainmanagementispreferred.
- ProficiencyinprocurementsoftwareandMicrosoftOffice and Excell.
- SAGE 50 experience of benefit.
Skills:
- Strongnegotiationanalyticalandcommunicationskillsareessential.
- Great Team Player.
- Works well on own initiative and takes direction well.
- Can do attitude great a problem solving.
WorkEnvironment:
- Officed based role may be required to travel to visit trade show suppliers and vendors.
- Reporting directly to the Managing Director.
