About the Somos Internship Program
The Somos Internship Program offers students a direct line to our organization and the opportunity to accelerate their future with us. Through hands-on projects active coaching and cross-functional collaboration youll gain valuable real-world experience in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Interns work alongside industry leaders subject matter experts and dedicated mentors who are passionate about helping you grow. Youll contribute to impactful initiatives while becoming part of a community focused on developing future leaders.
Our 2026 Summer Program features full-time paid internships running from June 1 to August 21. This is a non-exempt role with a pay range of $28.00$33.00 per hour.
To learn more about our program visit Requirements:
- This internship is remote but candidates must reside within the United States during the program.
- Applicants must be currently enrolled as undergraduate or graduate students in a degree-granting program at an accredited college or university.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale is required.
- Candidates must be available to work full time (40 hours per week) for the duration of the program from June 1 through August 21.
- Final selection is contingent upon successful completion of a pre-employment background check.
Working closely with the department the Intern willbe responsible forthe following tasks:
- Explore learn and supportSomosproduct portfolio across multiple initiatives
- Assistwith process improvements related to the product portfolio and data management
- Learn toidentify evaluate and prioritize ideastesting hypotheses and implementing the most promising concepts
- Build andmaintaindatabases to organize create and retrieve information efficiently
- Apply statistical methods and data science techniques to analyze complex data sets andidentifymeaningful trends and patterns
- Develop test and refine predictive and algorithmic models
- Conduct data-driven analysis to uncover insights relevant toSomosproduct strategy and performance
- Maintain and update lead lists generate reports and ensure data accuracy
- Monitor and analyze product data to track competitive developments and market trends
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders toidentifytechnology gaps define solutions and capture detailed requirements
- Partner with customer engagement teams on outreach campaigns webinars events and product launches
- Contribute to the design of financial and algorithmic models that inform business and product decisions
Major Initiatives:
- Participate in strategic discussions on current and future product initiatives
- Support database development and analytics processes
- Engage with customer feedback toanticipateneeds and improve the overall experience
- Contribute to the Intern Capstone Project collaborating with peers to deliver a high-impact final presentation
Qualifications & Skills:
- Enrolled as a junior or senior undergraduate student or graduate student
- Proficiencyin SQL and Microsoft Office applications particularly Excel and Access
- Strong quantitative analytical and critical thinking skills
- Ability to serve as a customer advocate within cross-functional teams
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities meet deadlines and deliver high-quality results
- Team-oriented mindsetno task is too big or too small
- Highly motivated resourceful self-starter with strong initiative
- Confident and effective in large-group presentations
- Passion for technology that empowers consumers
- Understanding of go-to-market strategies and product positioning
Preferred Qualifications & Skills:
- Pursuing a degree in Product Management Marketing Data Analytics Business Management or Computer Engineering
- Knowledge of global product lifecycles and customer needs
- Exposure to Design Thinking methodologies
- Familiarity with the telecommunications industry
- Experience with tools such as Jira VersionOne Mural Figma and Tableau
