About This Role:

Giant Tiger Wholesale is looking to hire a permanent Dunnage Associate for our brand-new fully automated 660000 square foot distribution center in Johnstown ON!

Highlights

• Unload and sort all store returns from returning trailers delivering sorted goods to the appropriate dept
• Load cardboard and plastic bales as per the set configuration in the appropriate recycling trailer
• Clean and bale any loose cardboard or plastic
• Clean log and pile on junk pallets all store reclamations in the reclamations room
• Travel the warehouse aisle by aisle removing all damaged cases from the active locations
• Consolidate same SKUs in order to create full cases and return to the active location
• Verify SKU numbers using the AS400 to see if they are part of the reclamations program
• Ensure that all boxes handled are on solid (unbroken) pallets within the confines of the pallet secured and stable and wrapped with tape or shrink wrap
• Maintain a clean neat and orderly work area
• Perform related work as required by Supervisor

Requirements

• Must be able to drive a counterbalance forklift and low lift equipment
• Completion of High School
• Class G2 or higher drivers license
• Basic PC skills and math skills
• Must be capable of sitting for extended periods of time
• Must be able to lift heavy items for extended periods of time
• Strong attention to detail

Sunday to Thursday 3:00pm to 11:30pm
