Location: Washington DC Metro (Hybrid). Hybrid role with 23 days onsite at client locations. Candidates within 25 miles of a DXC office are expected to be on-site two days per week.

Overview: A NetSuite Financials Functional Consultant responsible for configuring and optimizing NetSuite ERP in an applications managed services setting. Must have knowledge and working experience of financial processes including general ledger month-end close and accounts payable/receivable. The role involves gathering requirements configuring the system providing support and troubleshooting issues. Strong communication problem-solving and analytical skills are essential for this role.

Key responsibilities

• Requirement gathering:Work with clients to understand their business requirements and translate them into functional NetSuite solutions.
• System configuration:Configure NetSuite to align with client business processes including financial workflows general ledger and reporting.
• Implementation and deployment:Lead end-to-end implementation projects including data migration from legacy systems.
• Optimization and support:Provide ongoing support and strategic guidance to optimize system performance and user adoption.
• Process improvement:Analyze existing processes and recommend improvements and best practices within NetSuite.
• Training and documentation:Train end-users and create necessary documentation for the system.
• Troubleshooting:Address and resolve issues that arise during and after implementation.

Required skills and qualifications

• Experience with NetSuite ERP implementations and functional consulting.
• Strong knowledge of financial and accounting principles (e.g. general ledger month-end close AP/AR).
• Experience with specific financial workflows like Order-to-Cash (O2C) and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) is often required.
• Excellent communication analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Experience with business process mapping and data analysis.
• Familiarity with integrations is often a plus
