The hired candidate will receive a $500 hiring bonus paid 30 days after the start date if in good standing.

Purpose

• To provide support to the Preschool teachers in implementing the daily learning plans and schedules

• Toassist Preschool students in their developmental growth following the direction of the Preschool teacher

• To provide supervision of the Preschool students in a calm and caring manner

Primary Functions

• Assist in delivery of instruction and support the physical cognitive social and emotional well-being of the children

• Assist in day-to-day classroom operations

• Supervise children throughout the day including preparations before school care lunch recess and rest times for preschool students

You are Qualified if you have the following:

• High school diploma and either a). 2080 hours as an aide or student intern or b). 12 quarter credits

• Experience in Early Childhood and/or working with preschool children parents and staff

• A Christian faith in Jesus Christ

• Passion for working and playing with preschool-aged children

• Timeliness reliability and dependability

• Strong people skills to interact positively with the children parents and staff

• Ability to actively engage and interact with children in age-appropriate activities within a play-based program

• Support and implementing the mission of the school and the preschool program

• CPR/First Aid Certification preferred

• Ability to complete a background check and DHS required training and courses

• Ability to lift 40 pounds
