The Intern Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Social Impact will supportprograms and initiativesforthe departmentsCSR and diversityand inclusion (D&I) activities as well as a variety of administrative tasks.
The Internship will run from June to August and require 3 days in person at the 25 Madison office.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Researchpotential non-profit partner organizationsto ensure they align with Sonys philanthropic pillars of giving
Attendand take notes forCSR & Social Impact meetings with internal stakeholders and external non-profit partners
Assistin organizing and executingvirtual and in-person employee engagement and volunteer opportunitiesand activities
Manage and organize CSR & Social Impact digital files documentation and physical storage closet toensure accuracy accessibility and compliance
Assistin trackingandmaintainingemployee volunteer calendar and statistics
Assistinmaintainingupdated Corporate Membership information for cultural institutions and track employee use
Assistwith executing strategies and programs around key cultural/heritage months
Support the departments efforts to support the Employee Business Resource Groups (EBRGs) at SCA and across the U.S. operating companies
AssistCorporate Communications departmentwith company-wide distribution of relevant updates and events from D&I and non-profit partners
Help update design andmaintainCSR & Social Impact SharePoint sites internal newsletters and team communication channels to ensuretimely engaging andconsistent informationsharing
Honesty trustworthiness and ethical conduct are material requirements for the responsibilities outlined above
The ideal candidatewill have/be:
A motivated self-starterand ability to work independently.
Strong research and writing skills.
Excellent analytical and critical thinking abilities.
Detail-oriented approach to execution.

Respect and interest in learning about other cultures.
The target hourly rate for this internship is $19.00per hour. The individual will be paid hourly and eligible for overtime.
