Description

Great Britain Placing and Billing a line of business within the Corporate Risk and Broking segments operates to deliver the best client outcomes by fully integrating and mobilising Willis Towers Watsons relationships with insurers and providing specialist expertise throughout the client experience.

Role: Great Britian - Placing and Billing

Designation: BSTS / Assistant Manager

Business Unit: Placing and Billing

Shift: Morning/Afternoon rotational (06:30 03:30) (01:30 10:30)

Location: Ithink Thane

Principal Duties/Responsibilities

Process & Stakeholder Management:

  • Deliver/Manage KPIs and metrics in line with prescribed targets

  • Prioritise and organise work according to business priorities

  • Drive process improvements within team for improved efficiency client experience or better risk controls

  • Periodic review of process risks and ensuring adequate controls are in place

  • Meet with stakeholders to discuss process-related challenges and opportunities

  • Work with relevant stakeholders for effectively resolving escalations

  • Complete ad-hoc tasks as directed by Manager

  • Proactively support key initiatives delivered to implement change

Resource Planning:

  • Forecasting and planning of resource requirements

  • Manage resources efficiently through peaks and troughs in the business cycle

  • Ensure contingency planning is in place for critical resources

People Management / Development:

  • Set appropriate goals & expectations for the team and conduct regular progress reviews

  • Work closely with individuals and groom them to their full potential

  • Assess and develop competency levels to ensure team members have the expertise needed to add value

  • Proactively identify performance issues create action plans and coach for improvement

  • Conduct 1-1 and team meetings in line with Operational Engagement Framework

  • Manage attrition and absenteeism in the team

  • Monthly nominations for SPOT award and R&R

  • Conduct and document half-yearly and yearly appraisals for team members; obtain feedback from Technical Leader

  • Recognise high performers and engage them with the right opportunity
