We are looking for a Tier 3 NOC Engineer to ensure the 24/7 availability stability and performance of enterprise network infrastructure. This role focuses on advanced monitoring incident response escalation management and collaboration with internal teams and vendors while maintaining SLA commitments.
Requirements
- Solid knowledge of TCP/IP routing switching VLANs QoS and network troubleshooting
- Hands-on experience with Cisco Meraki Ruckus Aruba/HP networking equipment
- Experience with firewalls (Cisco ASA Fortinet WatchGuard)
- Strong packet analysis skills using Wireshark and tcpdump
- Experience with monitoring tools and alert management
- At least 1 year of experience in NOC or network operations roles
- Strong communication skills and ability to remain calm during critical incidents
Preferred / Nice to Have
- Experience with Property Management Systems (PMS) or hospitality technology
- Networking certifications such as CCNA CCNP Meraki Ruckus Aruba Fortinet NSE Network or CWNA
Work Schedule & Availability
- Shift-based role supporting 24/7 operations
- On-call availability may be required
- Office-based or remote work options depending on location
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor network and infrastructure performance using tools such as SolarWinds PRTG Nagios Zabbix and proprietary monitoring systems
- Respond to alerts and network incidents within SLA timelines performing advanced triage and troubleshooting
- Act as escalation point for Tier 1 and Tier 2 teams and coordinate with senior engineers and vendors
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) document incidents and recommend preventive improvements
- Configure maintain and troubleshoot routers switches firewalls wireless networks VPNs VLANs and SD-WAN environments
- Support LAN WAN MPLS wireless DNS DHCP NAT VoIP and routing protocols (BGP OSPF EIGRP STP)
- Execute firmware upgrades patches configuration changes and maintenance activities following change management processes
- Coordinate with field technicians for on-site support WiFi surveys PMS connectivity issues and third-party vendor troubleshooting
- Maintain network documentation topology diagrams SOPs and post-incident reports
