POSITION SUMMARY:
The Patient Transporter is an integral part of the patient care team providing prompt courteous customer-focused service to the patients visitors and coworkers of Boston Medical Center. The Patient Transporter is responsible for patient transport within the hospital and for miscellaneous functions as well. He/she contributes to service excellence by fostering collaboration among and between team members as well as other ancillary departments.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION:
High school diploma or G.E.D. preferred
EXPERIENCE:
6-12 Months of customer service or hospital experience
CERTIFICATES LICENSES REGISTRATIONS REQUIRED:
CPR certification preferred
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
Ability to read write and communicate in English
Ability to lift without any limitations
Compensation Range:
$17.40- $25.85This range offers an estimate based on the minimum job qualifications.
