Sr. Consultant, Cyber Engineering & Tech Ops Network & Cloud Security

Job Purpose and Impact

• The Senior Professional Cyber Engineering & Technology Operations job designs implements and operates the cybersecurity protective technologies within the organization. With minimal supervision this job oversees and ensures robust protection against threats while supporting operational efficiency.

Key Accountabilities

• CYBERSECURITY TECHNOLOGIES: Designs implements and operates cybersecurity protective technologies including endpoint detection and response cloud infrastructure controls and network protections.
• TECHNOLOGY MANAGEMENT: Leads technologies such as wide area network partner gateways internet of things security email collaboration tools local area network wireless and network segmentation virtual private networks proxies demilitarized zones middle tier systems databases and web servers.
• CO-CREATION WITH IT OPERATIONS: Partners with internal cross functional teams to co-create shared infrastructure initiatives.
• IT SERVICE MANAGEMENT INTERFACES: Operates and reviews all information technology service management interfaces including asset change configuration problem and request management.
• RESEARCHES SECURITY NEEDS: Researches complex system security needs for operations development including security requirements definition risk assessment and systems analysis.
• SECURITY POLICIES: Performs complex analysis and partners to establish security policy in compliance with industry standards.
• INCIDENT RESPONSE: Prepares and performs complex incident response disaster recovery and business continuity planning ensuring readiness for potential security breaches.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirement of 4 years of relevant work experience. Typically reflects 5 years or more of relevant experience.
• Strong experience with cloud security platforms including Wiz or similar CSPM/CNAPP solutions.
• Hands-on experience securing Microsoft Azure environments including identity networking and cloud-native security services.
• Experience with policy orchestration and firewall management tools such as Tufin.
• Experience working with proxy secure web gateway (SWG) ZTNA CASB and FWaaS solutions.
• Practical experience deploying or integrating SASE/SSE technologies (e.g. Zscaler Palo Alto Netskope).
• Broad exposure across LAN WAN WLAN cloud networking and security domains.
• Strong understanding of Zero Trust and modern network security architectures.
• Experience developing high-level and low-level designs (HLD/LLD) for cloud and network security solutions.
• Experience with network and security automation including Python and modern automation frameworks.
• Familiarity with Linux Docker Git and CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions Jenkins).
• Experience working in a large global distributed IT environment.
