Our Engineers provide support within an operational environment driving product enhancement process optimization and operational efficiency across the entire product lifecycle whichmay include quality engineering purchased product engineering advanced manufacturing and component and systems engineering.

Depending on the level and experience the Engineers may perform routine engineering functions on assigned projects or sub-projects of a general nature and limited scope applying standard mathematical physical science and/or engineering technologies. Higher level roles may have responsibility for performing and coordinating design development evaluation analysis and/or quality control functions on advanced and complex engineering projects often independently determining and developing solutions to technical problems while applying advanced mathematical physical science and engineering technologies.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Support in designing developing testing and improving products systems or processes while ensuring compliance with industry standards safety regulations and project timelines.
  • Collaborates with crossfunctional teams to deliver technical solutions that meet customer and business requirements.
  • Prepare and analyze evaluation reports and discrepancies to make recommendations that improve productivity and quality to reduce flowtime.
  • Interacts as a team with design agencies suppliers and/or internal organizations under the guidance from experienced Engineers to assist in product realization.
  • Participate in developing operating procedures work instructions and inspection criteria on new products and components.

You Must Have

  • Bachelor of Science degree from an ABET accredited university in Engineering Physical Science or Physics
  • Ability to travel up to 15% of the time
  • Ability to work on-site as directed by management
  • United States Citizenship
  • Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of this job
  • Ability to obtain and maintain if required for position a U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) security clearance (some positions require additional DOE designations)

  • Experience in technical scientific quality supply chain and/or engineering fields
  • Demonstrated analytical skills and experience with mathematical computations and computer software applications.
  • Demonstrated established technical methodologies to routine engineering project.
