Job Summary
The Senior Engineer will play a crucial role in designing functional reliable and cost-effective heavy-duty vehicle components for both existing and new vehicles. This position requires strong engineering analysis design expertise and effective collaboration with cross-functional teams. The Senior Engineer will be responsible for leading projects or segments of projects providing technical support ensuring adherence to engineering standards and mentoring junior team members. The role is onsite in Oshkosh WI with potential for contract-to-hire based on performance.
Skills
- Accredited Bachelors degree in Engineering or related field
- Three (3) or more years of relevant experience

Key Responsibilities
- Perform engineering calculations investigations and assigned tasks under supervision
- Support senior engineers with plans designs and reporting
- Lead a project or part of a project of limited complexity; potentially manage multiple projects
- Collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers
- Mentor and guide entry-level engineers designers and technicians
- Maintain communication with suppliers customers and stakeholders
- Enforce engineering criteria and drawing standards per company policies
- Evaluate designs for performance safety and reliability
- Prepare layouts drawings specifications and bills of material
- Conduct engineering analysis for parts and material selection
- Provide technical assistance for production support
- Analyze and resolve engineering issues and communicate status
- Prepare technical proposals quotations reports and presentations
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation and records
- Apply analytical and mathematical methods to model and optimize designs
- Ensure regular attendance and fulfill other assigned duties
