OVERVIEW
The Saturday Enrichment Experience is a grant-funded program for select schools that provides targeted tutoring for students in grades K-5 for select schools. It is a dedicated initiative that provides specialized support in math reading and science. Academic enrichment will be a focal point including literacy circles STEM challenges robotics math games and other instructional extensions that align with grade-level standards and reinforce in-school learning. By offering specialized enrichment on Saturdays we are committed to ensuring that every student has the opportunity to succeed academically.
GENERAL DEFINITION OF WORK
Under the supervision of the Site Facilitator the SEE Paraprofessional provides support to the program in various capacities including instructional support. This position is contingent upon student enrollment and attendance.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Follows the directions of the teacher and/or site facilitator
- Supervises students in instructional situations in the manner prescribed by the teacher and/or site facilitator
- Consults with the teacher concerning academic expectations for individual students
- Supervises students in all settings to ensure a safe structured and positive manner that supports the expectations of the teacher and/or site facilitator
- Work in collaboration with staff and other teachers
- Comply with and enforce school rules and school board policies and procedures.
- Attend each identified Saturday session in its entirety
- Attend training and data sessions
- Perform other school duties and assignments as appointed

- Must have extensive successful experience in instruction as evidenced by student performance data on standardized assessments

January 2026 through April 2026; 5 hours per day (8:00 AM - 1:00 PM)
EVALUATION
Performance evaluation will be conducted using final student performance data (i.e. SOL performance and growth data)
