Summary

The IT Support Engineer will provide technicalassistanceto employees by diagnosing troubleshooting and resolving hardware software and network issues. The role includes managing IT ticketsmaintainingsystems and equipment supporting onboarding setups and ensuring smooth day-to-day IT operations. The ideal candidate is proactive customer-focused and able to resolve issues efficiently while adhering to IT policies and security standards.

Specific duties

  • Providetimelytechnical support for hardware software and network issues.
  • Troubleshoot laptops desktops printers and peripheral devices.
  • Install configure and upgrade operating systems and approved applications.
  • Manage IT helpdesk tickets and ensure issues are resolved within SLA.
  • Set up and configure new employee devices email accounts and access permissions.
  • Maintain inventory of IT equipment and ensuretimelyprocurement or replacement.
  • Support video conferencing tools VPN access and remote working setups.
  • Ensure adherence to IT security policies and report any identified risks.
  • Assistwith user onboarding and offboarding including system access management.
  • Coordinate with external vendors for repairs AMC support and escalations.
  • Maintain documentation of IT processes configurations and troubleshooting steps.
  • Support network troubleshooting and basic server maintenance under guidance.

About you

  • You have24years of experience in IT support or a similar technical role.
  • Youpossessstrong troubleshooting skills across hardware software and basic networking.
  • You are proactive solution-oriented and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
  • You communicate clearly and patiently with users of all technical levels.
  • You are well-organised and can manage multiple support requests simultaneously.
  • You follow processes diligently andmaintainaccurateIT documentation.
  • You understand the importance of IT security and handle data responsibly.
  • Yourea team player who collaborates well with colleagues and external vendors.
  • You take ownership of issues follow through until resolution and are eager to learn and grow.
