Job Summary
Inova Loudoun Hospitalis seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Supervisor - Emergency Room (ER) to join our team. This role is full-time days (Monday - Friday) three 12-hour shifts (7:00 am - 7:00 pm). Rotating holidays on-call required. During orientation will rotate through all shifts (Days Mids and Nights). Eligible Nurses will qualify for sign-on & relocation bonuses.

The Inova Virts Miller Family Emergency and Trauma Center is a full-service emergency department for adults at Inova Loudoun Hospital. It is a Joint Commission-certified Advanced Primary Stroke Center and an integral part of the trauma program at Inova Loudoun Hospital Loudoun Countys only designated trauma center.

Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Supervisor - Emergency Room (ER) Responsibilities:
- Front line leader who is accountable for delivering highly reliable results related to Quality and Best Practices to improve clinical operation of the unit
- Embraces uses and understands the research behind nursing practice and quality tools.
- Supports unit-based shared governance and decentralized decision-making structures and processes

Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Supervisor - Emergency Room (ER) Requirements:
- Education: Bachelors Degree in Nursing; or Associate Degree RN within one year of completing BSN program
- Experience: One (1) year of experience as a Registered Nurse
- Licensure/Certifications: BLS from the American Heart Association;Licensed to practice as an RN in the Commonwealth of Virginia
- Training: Inova RN Unit Supervisor and Charge Nurse Training within 3 months of start date
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of clinical experience as a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department/Trauma Center with additional charge or supervisory responsibilities.
- Certification: Specialty certification specific to unit within 1 year; current ACLS and PALS
- Education: BSN or MSN preferred
