The Role
We are seeking an experienced Optical Mechanical Technician to help support and develop our manufacturing capabilities to produce state-of-the-art optical technologies.
In this dynamic team-focused role youll play a key part in developing innovative products by building and testing optical components and assemblies. Youll work across both established production processes and new product introduction (NPI) projects ensuring quality and performance at every stage. As part of your responsibilities youll maintain and service production equipment analyse data to identify and implement process improvements and consistently deliver high-quality results within tight project timelines.

This role is 37 hours per week based at Malvern. This role is fully on-site.

The Malvern facility is noted for its work in electronic warfare surveillance and complex system integration contributing significantly to the UKs defence capabilities. Developing technologies for military and civilian applications including sensors communications and cyber security
