Connelly School of the Holy Child is seeking a dedicated Upper School Science and Physics Teacher to join our outstanding faculty for the 2025-2026 school year. - Serve as an advisor in the Student Advisory Program.
- Collaborate with faculty members to enhance the curriculum and student learning experiences.
- Maintain an active commitment to professional development and contributions toschoolcommunity through committees and student life activities.
Requirements
The ideal candidate willpossess:
- Bachelors Degree in Physics Science Education or a related field with teaching experience at the secondary level.
- Teacher preparation programminor ineducation or certification preferred.
- Strong commitment to inquiry-based learning and laboratory investigations.
- Knowledge of best practices and strategies to effectively engage students from diverse backgrounds and abilities.
- Demonstrated ability to cultivate critical thinking collaboration and communication skills among students.
- Familiarity with Next Generation Science Standards and their application in teaching.
- Ability to inspire curiosity and a deeper understanding of the physical sciences in students.
- Commitment to embrace the schools mission and values witha genuineenthusiasm for teaching and learning.
- Willingness to collaborate effectively with colleagues administration parents and the wider community.
