We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Professional to join our team in Huntingdon. We are looking to cover evenings weekends and daytimes shifts. As a Care Professional you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by providing personalized care and support in their homes.
- Assist clients with daily living activities including personal care mobility and medication management
- Prepare nutritious meals and help with light housekeeping tasks
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Accompany clients to medical appointments and social activities
- Monitor and report changes in clients health or behaviour to supervisors
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date care records
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals and family members to ensure comprehensive care
- Adhere to health and safety regulations and maintain a clean safe environment for clients
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities
Qualifications :
- Genuine passion for supporting others and delivering outstanding care
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with clients and their families
- Strong sense of reliability trustworthiness and respect for client confidentiality
- Physical stamina to assist with mobility and personal care tasks
- Patience empathy and understanding towards clients diverse needs
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills for accurate record-keeping
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends
- Valid drivers license and access to a vehicle for client transportation
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Previous experience in a care setting is desirable but not required.
