JOB SUMMARY
The Finance Manager is responsible for driving financial performance through financial planning forecasting analysis and strategic business partnering. The role provides forward-looking insights to support decision-making optimize resource allocation and improve business performance working closely with functional leaders while partnering with Controllership for statutory and accounting matters.
Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
- Lead annual budgeting rolling forecasts and long-range planning
- Develop financial models for strategic initiatives and investments
- Analyze actuals vs. budget/forecast and identify key drivers
- Conduct scenario sensitivity and what-if analyses
- Monitor financial KPIs and performance trends
Management Reporting & Performance Insights
- Prepare monthly management reports dashboards and presentations
- Deliver concise actionable insights to leadership
- Identify trends risks and opportunities affecting performance
- Continuously enhance reporting tools and dashboards
Business Partnering & Decision Support
- Partner with functional leaders on planning performance and investments
- Provide financial analysis for commercial and operational decisions
- Support strategic initiatives launches and transformation projects
- Build financial acumen among non-finance stakeholders
Stakeholder Management & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate with regional/global finance Controllership and Shared Services
- Align local plans with regional and global finance strategies
- Support ad hoc financial analysis requests
Cost Management & Financial Governance
- Support expense planning and cost monitoring
- Identify cost optimization and efficiency opportunities
- Review spend against budget and strategic priorities
- Partner with Controllership on governance and policy adherence
Projects & ASEAN Reporting
- Initiate and manage business improvement projects such as process re-engineering efficient processes in compliant manner in terms of lead-time speed & quality of work which bring value to the business.
- Lead or work on special projects as directed by the FP&A Lead ASEAN including but not limited to: ASEAN Reporting & Consolidation
Qualifications :
Experience & Leadership:
- At least 8 years of progressive experience in Public Accounting firms and multinational companies (MNCs) covering accounting financial planning and senior management responsibilities.
- Successful record of developing mentoring and leading high-performing teams formulating and delivering strategic business outcomes in dynamic fast-paced environments.
Education & Technical Skills:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting or Commerce
- Certified CPA or ACCA member
- Proficient in SAP Microsoft Office and general computer literacy
- Excellent English language skills both oral and written
Collaboration & Communication:
- Skilled collaborator with cross-functional teams in regional and corporate settings capable of influencing outcomes and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.
- Excellent communicator adept at engaging diverse audiences through presentations written reports meetings and direct dialogue.
Analytical & Problem-Solving:
- Proficient in thorough data analysis and extracting key business insights for timely decision-making.
- Proactive in identifying issues risks and opportunities providing well-grounded recommendations on both financial and non-financial matters.
Operational Excellence:
- Effective in resource planning and allocation to deliver quality solutions within tight deadlines.
- Demonstrates maturity self-confidence and decisiveness with a clear presence in managing challenges and building a high-performance customer-focused culture.
