Job Summary
Position Role: Gd3 Pers Staff Officer responsible Pers Ops planning and tracking risks that affect personnel deployability and readiness across 3 (UK) Div.
Responsibilities:
1. Deliver Pers Ops staff work planning and output and Apply understanding of the future operating environment in conceptual thinking and analysis to ensure the Divisions workforce readiness.
2. Deploy as part of Pers team in Support Branch responsible for Pers Ops planning and coordination of battle casualty replacements with links into the G35 CSS planning team to compliment the (72-96hr) planning cycle.
3. Lead on Divisional retention capturing Fmn initiatives and brief on the RC Retention forum
4. Responsible for the management and administration of the Divisional People Picture providing critical data and analysis for subordinate Fmns and senior leadership.
5. Responsible for the coordination of the OF5 People Steering Group and support to the 2* Health and Wellbeing Committee.
6. Deputise for SO2 Pers in barracks as required and be prepared to represent Pers at Comd level meetings.
7. Supporting the Divisional Tactical Estimate planning cycles and operational activity.
8. Facilitate good working relationships and influence stakeholders using appropriate negotiation mediation and persuasion skills
