We are a growing independent financial services firm based in York PA with more than 30 years of experience guiding clients through lifes most important financial decisions. Today we have the great pleasure of serving over 500 households including retirees those transitioning into retirement younger professionals small business owners and a wide range of working professionals. We sit on the same side of the table working collaboratively to understand what matters most simplify the uncertainties and support each clients unique journey. Clients come to us for our financial planning expertise and they stay because of the exceptional service and care they receive. As a small team of six every role makes a meaningful impact. All clients are clients of the firm not of any one advisor allowing us to work together seamlessly to support each relationship and help our clients our team and our firm thrive.

Due to internal team growth we have an immediate opening for a full-time Client Service Associate. This role plays an essential part in delivering a seamless positive client experience. You will support a wide range of client account and internal functions such as opening accounts completing paperwork handling service requests coordinating with our back office and proactively taking on tasks that allow the advisory team to focus on planning client meetings and delivering value. Success in this position requires strong organization accuracy and attention to detail along with the ability to manage competing priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support to Financial Advisors and Financial Planners
  • Open new client accounts and research client and security information using internal databases and other technologies
  • Ensure all client paperwork and documentation is complete and accurate before submission to support proper maintenance and meet firm and industry requirements
  • Prepare letters forms and reports to assist with servicing existing clients
  • Enter and process trades as directed by the Financial Advisor based on experience and credentials
  • Facilitate client cash flow needs including systematic income and one-time withdrawals
  • Accurately organize and compile relevant client information and notes in our CRM planning imaging and all other business systems
  • Organize manage and track multiple detailed tasks and assignments with frequently changing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced task-oriented work environment
  • Provide superlative hospitality and client experience to every client

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree highly preferred or equivalent work experience
  • 1-3 years of progressive experience in wealth management highly preferred; candidates with experience in similar environments such as accounting banking investment operations insurance or mortgage industry roles with a focus on processing are also encouraged to apply
  • Knowledge of financial services products including but not limited to equities bonds options mutual funds annuities insurance and managed accounts preferred
  • Strong technology skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel Outlook PowerPoint) required; Knowledge of industry-specific software (LPL Broker Dealer Systems and Redtail) is a plus
  • Excellent follow-through and communication regarding status of open items
  • Strong time management skills; ability to prioritize and coordinate multiple work assignments and deadlines efficiently despite frequent interruptions
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to communicate in a pleasant tactful and effective manner (both orally and in writing) and to handle difficult sensitive issues
  • While not required candidates with Series 7 Series 63 Series 65 or Series 66 licenses will get priority viewing
