Job Summary

Community Education Instructor / Class Leader

Position Summary:

Responsible for leading community-based classes - providing an introduction demonstrating techniques and teaching the fundamental skills of determined topics to. Ensure participant engagement safety and supervision while maintaining a clean and organized class environment.

Qualifications:

Applicants must be 18 years of age or older.
Enthusiasm and aptitude for teaching specific topics and their related skills.
Experience working with or teaching children.
Positive and dependable attitude.
Strong leadership and communication skills; punctuality
CPR/First Aid certification a plus
Must successfully pass a background check

Essential Job Functions include the following:

Plan and facilitate learning activities that promote student engagement
Demonstrate skill knowledge and techniques with enthusiasm.
Create a safe inclusive and positive environment for all participants.
Supervise students during activities and transitions to ensure safety and well-being.
Communicate effectively with staff parents and participants.
Other duties may be assigned
