This role is part of Alcons Engineering function a team focused on improving quality processes products packaging and materials across our business to help deliver brilliant outcomes.

The Sr. Associate I Manufacturing Production Process Engineering (Science/Tech/Engineering Path) is a critical role that will support our Photonics and Optical Engineering this role you will be primarily responsible for designing developing and implementing efficient production processes for mass production. You will be expected to apply advanced technical knowledge and analytical skills to drive project performance and innovation.

Specifics include:

• Lead the development of advanced projects and apply innovative solutions.
• Design develop and implement new or revised production processes for efficient mass production including the arrangement of manufacturing equipment for optimal layout and the sequence of production operations.
• Specify procedures for tool and equipment fabrication and adapt machinery in response to factory conditions.
• Conduct tests throughout production to control variables and troubleshoot production problems Provide guidance to product design engineering on technical specifications to best use equipment and manufacturing techniques.
• Ensure production processes and procedures comply with regulations and adhere to Good Practice (GxP) regulations by following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) maintaining accurate documentation ensuring quality control and completing required training.
• Support team performance and operational efficiency while committing to continuous improvement and regulatory compliance.
• All associates must adhere to GxP regulations by strictly following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) maintaining accurate and complete documentation ensuring rigorous quality control and completing all required training.
• Associates are responsible for meeting their individual job requirements and contributing to the overall compliance of the organization.

WHAT YOULL BRING TO ALCON:

• Bachelors Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school 10 yrs; Assoc.16yrs; M.S.0 yrs) The ability to fluently read write understand and communicate in English
• 2 Years of Experience in Optics Engineering/Manufacturing
• 1 Years of Demonstrated Leadership
• Work location: Onsite
• Travel Requirements: 0 10% Domestic

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

• Experience in manufacturing Opti-mechanical assemblies is a plus.
• Experience in manufacturing engineering in an Optics manufacturing environment is a plus.
• Prior experience in medical device manufacturing is a plus.
