Intern HSE Specialist

We have an opportunity foran Intern - HSE Specialist positionwithHoneywellin Lugoj. Reporting to theHSE Manageryou will gain valuable experience in HSE processes while supporting the team in managing and executing day to day activities. This role offers an excellent opportunity to learn about SSM and SU including risk evaluation improvement initiatives and the overall HSE process lifecycle.

This role is part of our University Relationsprogram designed to help students and recent graduates launch their careers with hands-on experience mentorship and opportunities for growth within Honeywell. This is a full-on site working schedule; however we are flexible from this point of view.

Responsibilities:

• Drafts and updates company-specific HSE procedures and instructions.
• Contributes to developing employee training materials on HSE and emergency response.
• Monitors compliance with occupational health safety and environmental regulations.
• Supports verification of adherence to hygiene standards.
• Assists in identifying and evaluating workplace hazards and risks related to accidents and occupational illnesses.
• Supports routine safety environmental and fire prevention inspections.
• Assists in verifying the use of protective equipment and signage.
• Attends HSE training sessions to enhance knowledge.
• Participates in awareness initiatives to promote safety and environmental consciousness among employees.

Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in a bachelors level program at a university or graduated within the past 12 months
• Fluent English (B2 and above); Any other language skill is a plus
• Growth mindset and resilient personality
• Certification in Occupational Health and Safety Fire Safety (PSI) Environmental Management or a Masters degree in HSE is considered a plus
• Knowledge of MS Office suite
