About the Role

As the National Manager Business Banking you will be at the forefront of our divisions success. Your primary focus will be on leading and developing our Regional Managers to cultivate high-performing teams execute our national sales strategy and deliver an exceptional experience for our business customers.

You will be accountable for:

• Strategic Leadership: Leading your team of Regional Managers to achieve sales targets and strategic objectives. You will forecast sales identify new growth opportunities and energise the team around key initiatives and campaigns.
• Developing Leaders: A key focus of this role is on leader development. You will be responsible for coaching mentoring and empowering our Regional Managers undertaking workforce and succession planning to build our leadership pipeline for the future.
• Driving Performance: You will establish a strong sales rhythm set clear goals and monitor performance to drive outstanding results. This includes removing obstacles and fostering a collaborative environment to meet our customers needs effectively.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Building and maintaining strong partnerships with key internal stakeholders including Executives and senior leaders as well as external industry professionals.

About You

This role is ideal for a senior leader with a passion for people leadership and a proven ability to drive commercial success. You are known for your ability to influence inspire and execute on strategy.

We are looking for a leader with:

• Essential Experience: A strong background in commercial leadership roles is a must.
• Proven Expertise: Extensive experience (10 years highly regarded) in a professional sales environment preferably within banking or a commercial setting.
• Leadership Acumen: Exceptional people management sales coaching and communication skills. You have a track record of developing others and leading teams to achieve results.
• Commercial Mindset: Very strong financial literacy with a thorough understanding of banking principles. You are a results-oriented strategic thinker.
• Qualifications: Tertiary qualifications in a business commerce or finance-related discipline. Post-graduate qualifications (e.g. MBA AICD) are highly desirable.
