Labor & Employment Relations Manager Bohemia, NY

What you will accomplish together with us:

• Advise HR and business leaders on U.S. federal state and local employment laws as well as applicable regulations in Canada LATAM and Puerto Rico.
• Draft review and update employment-related local policies handbooks and agreements (e.g. offer letters separation agreements confidentiality agreements).
• Advise and counsel complex employee relations issues including investigations disciplinary actions and terminations ensuring legal compliance and consistency.
• Support compliance programs related to wage and hour discrimination harassment and workplace safety.
• Monitor legislative and regulatory changes impacting employment practices and proactively recommend adjustments.
• Coordinate with external counsel as needed for litigation arbitration or specialized regional matters.
• Support the development and delivery of Employment Law Trainings to key stakeholders.

What will convince us:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school; licensed to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• 5 years of experience in employment law preferably in a multinational corporate environment or reputable law firm.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. employment laws (FLSA Title VII ADA FMLA etc.) and familiarity with Canada Puerto Rico and LATAM labor frameworks.
• Proven ability to manage complex cross-border employment issues and provide practical business-oriented solutions.
• Excellent communication negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluency in English required; Spanish or Portuguese is a plus.
• Potential for up to 10% travel.

Compensation for this position will be a base salary between $125000.00 and $130000.00 plus bonus depending on experience.
