The Shipping Manager will be responsible for personally overseeing and performing individual item wrapping boxing and documentation ensuring each shipment meets strict accuracy and packaging standards. The role also involves leading a helper to maintain efficiency coordinating shipments with carriers and maintaining a clean organized shipping area.

This is a temp to perm role that requires hands-on work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Pay: Competitive base hourly rate annual bonus tied to company results with high monthly incentive pay for shipping accuracy

Qualifications:

Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced high-mix shipping environment
Comfortable with hands-on work and light to moderate lifting
Basic computer skills for documentation and record keeping
Various backgrounds considered provided the ability to function in a dynamic active environment

Additional Details:

Handle approximately 125 shipments per month (about 6 per day)
Incentive structure: pay-for-results with up to $500/month bonus for accuracy
Must be able to coordinate shipping and paperwork for multiple items per batch
